The process

– your name
– wedding date
– wedding location
– time you will need to be done with hair and makeup
– number of people needing services
– your contact phone number so we can discuss further details and answer any questions you may have
Payment
I require a $100 deposit to hold your appointment, this is applied towards your total. You can pay through Venmo, or credit card via Square. I book your appointment for both your trial and the day of, upon payment.
Payment for the day of can be divided between the trial and the wedding day, or some brides like to make the entire payment during the trial, to be able to relax and not think about it on the wedding day.
How do you make sure my hair and makeup will stay all day?
The day of the wedding, I typically save the bride for last. I get all the bridesmaids and moms ready first, ending with the bride to assure she is fresh by the time the wedding starts. This does not mean that the other girls don’t look fresh. After finishing the brides hair and makeup, I do touch ups on everyone. Making sure bobby pins are secure and lipstick is fresh!
I provide everyone with a lip touch up to go, and the bride gets an extra special touch up kit including some powder, lipstick, and extra bobby pins.
When is the best time to do the trial?
A lot of brides like to book the trial for the day of the rehearsal dinner. This way you are all dolled up for your dinner, and it gives you a night to see how your makeup feels and your hair lasts. It allows me to get feedback and know what to do differently for your wedding day. However, you can book your trial for any time prior to the wedding date. Even if it’s months in advance.
The day of your trial, please come prepared with ideas/pictures of what looks you would like for your wedding day. We will practice your look, finding what colors you like, hair pieces, vail placement, and any other details that may come up. I will take notes and pictures to remember your look for the wedding day. It’s a good idea to have a date planned after your trial because your gonna be looking good!
Where do you travel to?
I am located in Gunnison and provide bridal services for the Gunnison Valley and salon services in Crested Butte.
In Colorado I travel to all of our beautiful mountain towns such as Telluride, Breckenridge, Aspen and Vail. If your destination wedding is in Mexico or Hawaii, I can travel there too! Out of state travel will require a detailed consultation, travel fees and accommodations.
If I have a destination wedding outside of Colorado , how do we book you to travel with us?
If you are planning a wedding, you probably know that you have to start planning quite a bit in advance. For destination weddings outside of Colorado, I require a booking to be made 6 months in advance. When it comes to driving, I charge a travel fee plus .51 cents per mile. For out of state travel, I require a travel fee, plus 50% of my hotel and flight. Travel fees are to be discussed during the consultation.
